Wish we got:
-hand held shower for soaker tub
-couple of extra potlights in the kitchen
-enlarged deck... not sure if that was even an option
-A/C through builder
-railing for porch
-different tiles in foyer and poweder room
-nicer edging around breakfast bar to match wood cabinets
-different countertop in kitchen... the charcoal grey shows every streak and dust |

| One thing I definately wish that we had gotten was some more decorative patterns to our ceramics than just the regular layouts. At only approximately $250 each I believe it was it sure does make a difference in the appearance of your tiles... |

I too wish we had done more decorative stuff with our tiles, especially in the master bath shower. And maybe laid our tiles in the kitchen on an angle. Also wish we'd picked a nicer countertop in the master ensuite, and paid for upgraded baseboards (our standard baseboards look weeny with the 9' ceilings). Oh, and I wish we'd deleted the "California" step at the bottom of our stairs. It serves absolutely no purpose and because of it, we can't put any furniture against that wall.
Oh, and Steve wishes we'd raised the shower head in the master shower by about 6", it's too low for him. |

Things I wish we would have got
-double sinks in both bathrooms
-window seats in the kitchen...we built them ourselves after close...would have been nice to have the ones from Aya Kitchens
-but the biggest thing i wish we would have done was get a 43 rather than a 34...parking in a 34 sucks...we made our driveway double wide but it takes away from the look of the front of the house
we could have gone with a 43 but wouldn't have been able to do much in upgrades...would have been bare bones....so instead we got the 34 with about 25,000 in upgrades |

I wish we had added pot lights in the kitchen and living room area- having a switch in the kitchen to turn o the lights would be very convient, we have a breakfast bar instead of the island and every time we need to turn on the kitchen light we have to go around the breakfast bar.
- Wish we had roughed in speaker wires for the entertainment system
- Should have broken down the laundry room on the main floor to creat more closet space for the master bedroom.
That's about it. _________________ First time buyers Garth Massey Dr |
