1. Ensure that your posts are respectful of other users. There is no need to attack others. (This applies even IF someone posts a 'stupid' question or you are having a bad day.)
2. Do not act as a 'back seat moderator'. If you note an issue which contravenes with something in the rules, please bring it to the attention of either the Administrator or Moderator. Do not respond to such issues yourself. Members who consistently 'act' as Moderators will be warned and could potentially be banned from this forum. (Or, they may find themselves being appointed as a 'Moderator'. Just kidding, of course.)
3. Posting of pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated. (Seeing as this is a forum about a residential community- I don't anticipate that this will be a problem??)
4. The Administrator, Moderator or any other member of the support team, reserve the right to edit or remove a post at any time if such post is deemed to be indecent, vulgar, offensive, etc. (This is true and will be done, if required.)
5. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Users consistently abusing this will be warned. (IN OTHER WORDS, DON'T BE ANNOYING!!!) |
